“In the dream of separation, perception creates the experienced reality. Perception gives rise to a subject that develops into an ego, which creates standards and rules for itself and others. From then on, the ego distinguishes everything it perceives as good or bad, right or wrong. This constant judging develops into an automatism that becomes deeply rooted in the process of perception. Thus, the ego becomes the legislator, accuser, and judge of itself and its environment. And since it not only accuses itself, but is all too happy to condemn itself, it eventually becomes its own prison guard. In short, the ego has diversified into several sub-egos that provide a constant distraction from its real problem, which is the fear of the consequences of its de facto non-existence.
And if one part of the ego tries to free itself from prison by doing something or improving itself, then sooner or later another part of the ego sharpens its judgmental gaze, wrinkles its nose, rolls its eyes, and judges: ‘Insufficient! Once again.’
Isn’t it interesting, then, that despite this monstrous, self-perpetuating machinery called the ego, I can come together with you and talk about something like the Third Round of Creation? How is it possible for anything at all to overcome all the filters and protective mechanisms that the ego has built around itself in its fear of extinction?
At first glance, it looks like you are only taking in my words through your perception. However, the ego loves words, because they are symbols of separation that cannot truly express what exists beyond separation. Furthermore, the ego can occupy itself with chopping up formulations into small morsels that fit into the world view it has created or, better still, do not fit, which is why they are to be condemned. Discussions, self-talk, opinions of all kinds, and the chatter of others are a highly effective workout for any ego.
So, there must be something else in you that I am in contact with and that cannot be permanently veiled by the ego, despite all of its efforts. Something that is with you even in the midst of the experience of separation, resonating with my words, and even more resonating with my presence. This something has always conveyed to you the knowingness that your ‘reality’ created by perception has nothing to do with true reality.
I call this something the ‘Divine Spark.’ The Divine Spark is an expression for the inextinguishable knowingness that lets you know at all times:
Pure consciousness is inseparable!”
